100 Things…

  1. I have been married 14 years and am the mother of two girls and one boy ages 8, 7, and six weeks respectively. The girls are both a lot like me.
  2. That’s good and bad.
  3. I am the second child in my family and have two sisters and three brothers. My husband is also a second child and has one brother and three sisters.
  4. I was married very young and even though I got lucky and picked a good man, marrying young is one of the only big regrets of my life (so far).
  5. I wish I had taken more time to grow up and get to know myself before getting married.
  6. Also travel, I wish I had traveled more.
  7. I try to not have regrets, I believe they bog you down and hinder growth.
  8. New York City is my favorite place on earth.

  14. Now I am a mom and a freelance writer.
  15. I want to write a book.
  16. I think almost everyone wants to write a book.
  17. My first writing experience was in first grade. I wrote a story about a duck and my teacher had me read it to all the first grade classes. I’ve been writing ever since and have been published.
  18. My favorite food is chocolate. I also like fresh fruits and vegetables and really good bread. I don’t eat a lot of meat, but every once in a while I’ll crave a juicy steak.
  19. I can crave steak, I grew up on a cattle farm.
  20. I don’t like cheese or nuts.
  21. I finally had surgery last year to repair my deviated septum, which was damaged when I was kicked in the face over nine years ago.
  22. It was an accident.
  23. I love to read and am always on the hunt for a great book.
  24. I rarely read the same book twice.
  25. I am picky about movies and don’t see many.
  26. But I am fascinated by the moviemaking process and know lots of movie trivia. If you give me a title, chances are I won’t have see the movie, but I can tell you its box office gross and which stars hooked up during filming.
  27. I think most celebrities are ridiculous.
  28. I am afraid of big, dark objects hanging over my head.

  33. If it ain’t chocolate it ain’t dessert.

  40. The last thing I bought was a package of bubblegum.
  41. The next thing I buy will probably be a computer mouse.

  55. Sometimes I search for weird stuff just to mess with it.
  56. My brothers are all quite a bit younger than me. If they had been more my age when I was dating, I would have understood boys a lot better and been a much cooler girlfriend.
  57. As it was, I was a little intense and scared away the guy who I thought would be the love of my life.
  58. He wasn’t.

I only came here to see the pictures of your dress (I’m on the LotR costume board, too) but I started searching around and I read this… and it just cracked me up how similar we are!

Anyways, I thought I would share that with you - that over half (actually, I would say more, but I’m too lazy to go back and count) of the things you said were true about me, too.

I learned a lot about you. Space camp huh. I went to the place in AL where they have space camp but I was in my mid 30’s and had 3 kids so I didn’t get to attend.
You do sew good enough to justify the sewing machine…someday you will have it!
