- I have been married 14 years and am the mother of two girls and one boy ages 8, 7, and six weeks respectively. The girls are both a lot like me.
- That’s good and bad.
- I am the second child in my family and have two sisters and three brothers. My husband is also a second child and has one brother and three sisters.
- I was married very young and even though I got lucky and picked a good man, marrying young is one of the only big regrets of my life (so far).
- I wish I had taken more time to grow up and get to know myself before getting married.
- Also travel, I wish I had traveled more.
- I try to not have regrets, I believe they bog you down and hinder growth.
- New York City is my favorite place on earth.
- But I’ve only been there once.
- I am planning to go back soon.
- I have a degree in marketing communications and spent several years in corporate America before becoming a full-time mom.
- Giving up my career was very, very hard.
- But I have no regrets.
- Now I am a mom and a freelance writer.
- I want to write a book.
- I think almost everyone wants to write a book.
- My first writing experience was in first grade. I wrote a story about a duck and my teacher had me read it to all the first grade classes. I’ve been writing ever since and have been published.
- My favorite food is chocolate. I also like fresh fruits and vegetables and really good bread. I don’t eat a lot of meat, but every once in a while I’ll crave a juicy steak.
- I can crave steak, I grew up on a cattle farm.
- I don’t like cheese or nuts.
- I finally had surgery last year to repair my deviated septum, which was damaged when I was kicked in the face over nine years ago.
- It was an accident.
- I love to read and am always on the hunt for a great book.
- I rarely read the same book twice.
- I am picky about movies and don’t see many.

- I don’t like restaurants where the decor features big, heavy junk hanging from the ceiling.
- I love colored glass.
- I had very normal pregnancies with no drama and my children are perfectly healthy.
- This is significant because one of my sisters has had a lot of problems with her pregnancies. Sometimes I feel guilty when I see how much she’s struggled. I don’t know why it was her and not me.
- If it ain’t chocolate it ain’t dessert.
- My car was burglarized on our wedding day and they stole our luggage, which had our marriage certificate inside. Three weeks later someone found the certificate in a McDonalds parking lot. There was a huge tire track across it.
- I have worn glasses/contacts since age 11. I really want corrective surgery but I’m a chicken. And also poor.
- My computer mouse is dying.
- I can’t burp on command.
- I took ballet classes for six years as a teenager and probably remember myself as being a better dancer than I actually was.
- I have been in three car accidents but only one was my fault.
- The last thing I bought was a package of bubblegum.
- The next thing I buy will probably be a computer mouse.

- I have a brother in the Air Force who just got back from Iraq.

- I never get stage fright.
- My favorite show I’ve done is The Unsinkable Molly Brown.
- My least favorite is Sing On.
- I used to cook fancy but don’t so much anymore.
- I am annoyed by the personalized recommendations on Amazon. I don’t like that I’ve been compartmentalized and a computer is deciding what I would like and don’t like.
- Sometimes I search for weird stuff just to mess with it.
- My brothers are all quite a bit younger than me. If they had been more my age when I was dating, I would have understood boys a lot better and been a much cooler girlfriend.
- As it was, I was a little intense and scared away the guy who I thought would be the love of my life.
- He wasn’t.
- I am a French fry snob. If they’re not fresh, I send them back.
- This used to embarrass my husband but now he appreciates that he never has to eat cold, soggy fries.
- I am always polite to service people, I used to be one.
- I don’t like salespeople and am immediately turned off if they come on too strong.

I only came here to see the pictures of your dress (I’m on the LotR costume board, too) but I started searching around and I read this… and it just cracked me up how similar we are!
Anyways, I thought I would share that with you - that over half (actually, I would say more, but I’m too lazy to go back and count) of the things you said were true about me, too.

I learned a lot about you. Space camp huh. I went to the place in AL where they have space camp but I was in my mid 30’s and had 3 kids so I didn’t get to attend.
You do sew good enough to justify the sewing machine…someday you will have it!
no, everyone doesn’t want to write a book. I almost don’t want to read a book. But you should, you are a great writer. What was published? So many ?’s so little time.
