What my computer REALLY thinks…
I got this one from Jac. It’s fun! If you’re reading this, consider yourself officially tagged so put your iPod (or other musical device) on shuffle and answer the questions below. No cheating! Make sure to post your blog address in my comments so I can check out your meme. I have no iPod (yes, I am officially uncool) so I’m using my music library on my computer. MediaPlayer = on…shuffle…and…go! 1. How does the world see you? 2. Will I have a happy life? 3. What do my friends really think of me? 4. Do people secretly lust after me? 5. How can I make myself happy? 6. What should I do with my life? 7. Will I ever have children? 8. What is some good advice for me? 9. How will I be remembered? 10. What is my signature song? 11. What do I think my current theme song is? 12. What does everyone else think my current theme song is? 13. What song will play at my funeral? 14. What types of men/women do I like? 15. What kind of day will I have?
Angel (Sarah Mclachlan) — I like this one already!
Don’t Cry Out Loud (Melissa Manchester) — What? I…I…won’t have a happy life?
Cry to Me (Dirty Dancing soundtrack) — Okay, what’s with all the crying? Suck it up people!
Biggest Blame Fool (Seussical soundtrack) — Hurtful and full of spite, computer. You’re just jealous.
Smooth (Santana) — Sample lyrics: “I would give my world to lift you up. I could change my life to better suit your mood.” Whose mood are we talking about here? Because if we’re talking about my 7-year-old, forget it. Sometimes there’s no reasoning with that girl.
Viva Las Vegas (Elvis) — Oh yeeeeah! Suddenly I have a yearning for sequins and a cheap buffet.
Once Upon a December (Anastasia soundtrack) — Well, no actually. My children were born in the spring and the summer, but whatever you say. Uh-oh. Does that mean I’ll have another child? Ulp!
It’s My Life (Bon Jovi) — Okay, true. I should stop worrying about what other people think. Good advice.
Ain’t Going Down Til the Sun Comes Up (Garth Brooks) — Hahahahaha! That’s actually true at times. Did I mention that I’m a night-owl?
Sleeping on Her Own (Martin Guerre soundtrack) — Mean, mean, MEAN!! But also true at times due to the aforementioned night-owlsihry.
March of the Witch Hunters (Wicked soundtrack) — Okay, I’ll take it what with the current political climate being what it is.
Drive a Person Crazy (Company soundtrack) — I think this one is self-explanatory.
Something to Believe In (Linda Eder) — Hmmm, the computer has more depth than I realized.
Who Let the Dogs Out (Baha Men) — I…uh…yes, this song is on my computer. How embarrassing. And also, I do not like dogs and my husband is quite handsome. Handsome!
Reflections (Jekyll & Hyde soundtrack) — Undoubtedly. Mostly because of this meme. Right now I’m reflecting on my need for chocolate.

That’s zany. The only shuffle I have is on my car CD player, so I’ll have to play another time.

#1 = 40 Days & 40 Nights (Ellis Hooks)- great, the world sees me as a biblical disaster.
#2 = I’ve Been Trying To Get Over You (Vince Gill) - doesn’t look too promising…
#3 = I Will Remember You (Sarah Mclachlan) - I like the sound of that
#4 = Cocomo (The Beach Boys) - I don’t know what to make out of this one…
#5 = Homeward Bound (Simon & Garfunkel) - I hardly ever leave the house except to go to work and to visit my family…. looks like it’s time to quit my job.
#6 = Cold Day In July (Dixie Chicks) - Does this mean I should find a dude who’ll lie to me alot or does it mean I should move somewhere in the world where their seasons are backwards? or both?
#7 = Till I Can Make It On My Own (S Evans, M McBride, M McCreedy, L Morgan) - Looks like I should have been born a hermaphrite?
#8 = Strawberry Wine (Deanna Carver) - I was right all these years! I DO need a drink!
#9 = Behind Blue Eyes (The Who) - All my life I thought my eyes were Hazel. Don’t you think someone chould have mentioned this before?
#10 = This Old Heart Of Mine (Rod Stewart) - I think I kind of like that.
#11 = Lullaby (Merle Haggard) - I keep telling people it’s nap time & they keep telling me to shut up & get back to work…
#12 = How Far (Martine McBride) - Hmmmm… I’ll have to think about what this one means…
#13 = When I Call Your Name (Vince Gill) - Me calling them or them calling me - either way - I don’t think the call is going to get answered.
#14 = Just To See You Smile (Tim McGraw) - Yup. That’s always been my motto - “Sure I’ll sleep with you. But first you’ve got to tell me a joke”
#15 = I’m No Stranger To The Rain (Keith Whitley) - July 9th in Los Angeles. Hmmmm… I’m no stranger to the rain, more like a long (long, long) lost friend.
note - I just came to look at the dress and I stayed to read the whole thing. You write very well & I really hope you’re having a good day today. And our thought for the day is either:
Life is 10% what you make it and 90% how you take it. (Irving Berlin)
or
Maybe I was born yesterday - but I’ve been up all night!
