Saying Goodbye
I got word a few hours ago that a dear friend passed away suddenly from a heart attack yesterday morning. She lives in another state so this evening has been a blur of flight arrangements and rental car reservations.

Memory Making
Last night we went downtown to see the Christmas lights and decorations. After we’d walked around for a while, we went into a building with an observatory so we could look down at the city. The girls loved it.
