Memory Making
Last night we went downtown to see the Christmas lights and decorations. After we’d walked around for a while, we went into a building with an observatory so we could look down at the city. The girls loved it. There is a restaurant next to the observatory but it’s pretty expensive so we’ve never eaten there. We’d already had dinner but on an impulse we decided to have dessert. We let the girls each order their own and it came garnished with big sugar sculptures and candies. They were delighted and it was the first thing they mentioned when they woke up this morning. Times like this make you fall in love with your kids all over again.

Holy HUGE desserts!
We’re planning on heading up to see the lights during the week after Christmas and we’re planning on eating at that very restaurant. Yeah, it’s expensive, but they have the absolute best buffet I’ve ever eaten. Yes, I ate the entire buffet. It was too delicious to stop!
