Two months already
Baby Adam is two months old today. It’s gone by in a blur and already I am having difficulty remembering a time when we didn’t have him. He’s such a part of the family, it seems weird that I ever felt complete without him here. Adam is taking his job to gain weight seriously and is still eating with gusto. I must be giving him straight cream because he has had no trouble packing on the pounds. At his checkup last week he weighed in at 10 lb. 7 oz.! It won’t be long before we have twice as much boy as we started with. To compare - here he is at four days old under the horrible, hateful (gee, let me tell you how I really feel) bilirubin lights. And here’s Mr. Cool hanging out today on the couch: Get a load of that neck roll! Also - smiling! We got our first smile a few days ago. He’s been pretty stingy with them even though we are going to great lengths to coax a grin out of him. Here’s a half grin, thanks to the delay on my camera. Happy two months, baby boy!
