Gee, where have I been?
I think this has been my longest posting lapse in a while. Been busy, I’m sure you all know the drill. Halloween costumes are finished and now I plunge into sewing dance costumes for the Christmas recital at the dance studio my daughters attend. I did this last year and vowed never again yet here I am again — because I am a woman of big words and little action, apparently. It won’t be as bad this time though. I’m in charge of three classes instead of 12 and I already have the designs nailed down and the fabric bought. There’s lots of sewing in my future but I like sewing, right? Right? I’m also thinking of participating in NaBloPoMo though I suspect my daily posts will read something like this: sewing, sewing machine, fabric, patterns, *^&$!@ sewing, shopping for Christmas, and sewing. Truly riveting stuff. Anyway, thanks for your patience. Carry on with your lives, there’s not a lot to see here. Oh - and please include Southern California in your prayers, meditations, happy thoughts…whatever it is you do. We have some dear friends in San Diego who have been evacuated and as of a few hours ago, still didn’t know if their house was still standing. There are many more in similar or worse circumstances. Thinking of you, S. Cal!!
