Underwhere?
Mia’s underwear keeps disappearing. It’s not in her drawer, it’s not in her clothes hamper, and it’s not in the laundry cycle. Every week I plod along the laundry treadmill without ever encountering a pair of her underwear, clean or dirty. This has happened more than once, leaving me with no choice but to go out and buy her more. But where does it go? - Is she having accidents and is throwing it away rather than fessing up? - Has she left it in a bag from a long-forgotten overnight trip? - Craft project? Should I question more deeply where the new doll blankets have come from? - Is she perhaps distributing it to poor and needy the way other children might do with a pair of gloves or a hat? I picture her sitting by the window like Beth in Little Women, dropping her largess of My Little Pony Low-rise Briefs to the unfortunate beings below. - Or will I someday unearth a secret stash of foulness that I’m queasy just thinking about? It’s a puzzle.

Also? Pretty new design! I’ve been reading through Bloglines, so I didn’t realize it had changed

Ummm…do you really want to know what is happening to all of the underwear? I’d be scared to find out!

It gets worse. My 15-year-old can’t find her camisoles or blouses. I’d relent to agreeing with her on the whole washing machine conspiracy, except it’s only HER clothes that seem to go missing.

Could it be related to the lost sock problem? There is a lost sock memorial day on May 9th. I wonder if there is a lost “other article of clothing” memorial day.
